  • This review is for the company, NOT hoover dam. Not too bad of a company. First, I wanted to start off by saying that there are two or three different shuttles in front of your hotel, so you have to figure out which shuttle is yours. Good thing we asked someone, we would have missed our shuttle. We were in the right area, except we had to walk quite a distance to get to the right shuttle. They should label the shuttles with a certain logo/name. That way you know which shuttle to get on. The driver who picked us up, was very friendly. I don't remember his name, but he was an Asian man. Super friendly! After picking up everyone from the hotels, the guy drives us to their building, to get checked in, again. They give you a sticker with a bus number on it. Wait about half an hour, forty-five minutes, then get on your bus. After about ten minutes, everyone finally leaves to head to hoover dam after boarding the buses. Our guy I believe was Steve. I don't remember the other man's name. Not sure why people are complaining about Steve, he was just fine. Those of you who complained about his coughing and mucus slurping, the man had cancer. From what he told us. He also gave us some interesting facts about the state of Nevada. (hopefully they were true.) Steve wasn't loud, or annoying. So, I actually really enjoyed my ride with some peace and quiet. After we arrive to the hoover dam, security comes in and checks the bus. We are warned about this before arriving. They tell you not to be in the bathroom while this is happening, or you'll be one embarrassed person! Security comes on your bus, and checks the bathroom. When your bus parks, they let you know what time to be back on the bus to leave. After boarding the bus, your tour guide will let you know that they will be taking you to the bridge, and you will have 30 mins to walk up to it, take pictures, and walk back down to the bus. That was really cool, because I really wanted to visit the bridge. That was an unexpected surprise! When you return to your bus, you get a bottle of cold water, which is much needed out there!! So please bring your own to carry around while walking around the hoover dam! We didn't get fresh water till the end of our tour, after viewing the bridge. After leaving the bridge, they took us to a park in Boulder city, to see wild sheep, with horns! They gave us about 5 mins to get out, and take pictures! That was pretty unique to me.. Lol. They drove us back to the strip, after that. It was a nice tour. A little expensive, but we got a deal on Groupon, so I can't complain. I'd recommend. Would be better if they had a quicker system after getting dropped off at their office building. I didn't really enjoy sitting outside in the Vegas heat for almost an hour, while waiting for people to get a sticker with a bus number on it. Would have been nice if there was indoor seating until everyone had a sticker, for each bus that your weren't even riding on.. That's just me, though.
