  • I don't think I can say enough about what a phenomenal experience I had at Verde Salon. It has taken me far too long to post this review. Anyways, to start, I got lost and had difficulty getting to them because the freeway exit my GPS told me to take was closed. So I called Verde and Stephanie (the OWNER) got on the phone with me and stayed on directing me until I was parked outside of the salon! When I got inside, she (the OWNER) got me a cup of coffee and made me comfortable chatting with me until Maren, my stylist, could see me. I explained to both Maren and Stephanie that I was driving down from North Phoenix to Chandler to see them because I needed a salon that used organic products and so few fit the bill near me. I am so incredibly glad I made the trip. Before anyone even touched my hair, Maren and Stephanie spent a half an hour talking about the condition of my hair, making suggestions for color, for products, for styles and what I could do to help make my own hair healthier. I am a cancer survivor and have quite a bit of medication, etc. that I am still detoxing out of my system. Stephanie and Maren knew how to deal with that and understood my emotional and physical needs. I have friends that aren't as caring and compassionate! Most importantly, however, is the incredible job that Maren did with my hair. The cut is amazing and makes my hair look so much healthier. The color is beautiful and looks far more natural than what I was doing previously and the condition of my hair since it was done (about 3 weeks ago) is better than it has been in years. I think the organic hair dye actually improved the strength of my hair and no itch or rash, to boot!!! Again, I can't say enough about the wonderful treatment I received at Verde Salon. You don't see that quality of service, products, etc. in businesses out there very much anymore. They all seem to take a great deal of pride in their work and it shows. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Maren and Stephanie, you ladies are amazing and I will be back very soon to see you!!
