With several boba places opening recently, you have to stand out somehow. Besides the fact that Blitz Boba operates on wheels. I was most impressed with the flavors offered. Their menu has the least amount of drinks offered, which is fine with me as long as it is different from other boba shops and they focus on overall quality and taste. One Friday, I went to the food truck event specifically to try Blitz Boba. At this time they are only available on Friday nights at a specific location of Fort Apache near Sunset. I am a horchata fan and I had to have me some horchata boba drank! I really enjoyed this drink and I know I won't be able to get this at normal boba shops that I frequent. I was able to also try the taro oreo smoothie, which was a great combination of flavors. There's not much to say about the boba, except that they were stingy with it. My photos barely show any boba. The major complaint I have was that my two drinks took 20+ minutes to make. This is forgivable since this was their second night of operation; however, I don't see myself trying them again anytime soon until their workflow improves with more experience and they are available at more locations and times.
