We are scooter riders, not motorcycle riders. Mostly we frequent and buy from scooter shops. Wife decided she wanted a Honda PCX 150 scooter as her move up scooter. Fine. For that we would have to go to either a Honda dealer or a Japanese powersports dealer. Yelp said Western was the place to go. And, they did great. They had the only blue PCX in all of AZ. They held the bike for us for 5 days until payday. They gave us the closeout 2017 price on this 2018 PCX. Who could ask for anything more! Where they lost a star was for being a Japanese powersports dealer. We had never dealt with that befor. What does that entail? Acting like a automotive dealership. Sigh. Low price, only to be made up in Doc Fee $280, set up fee $199, plus the usual Tax and Licence fees. Then we got a trip to the Finance Department where they tried to pressue sell us an extended warranty. More sigh. Three weeks earlier we had bought a new $2,000 scooter from AZ Scooter. There were no Doc Fees or Set Up fees at AZ Scooter.
So, Western did great for what they are. We thank them profusely for saving the bike for us. But, I was just not expecting the extra add-on profit center fees. Sigh.
