| - I have been a long time patron of this clinic and have three pets being treated by the two vets who own this clinic. Two and some years ago I decided to adopt my purebred dream dog because the T.O. shelters felt I was an unsuitable candidate to adopt a rescue becuse I lived in an apt and possesed a certain level of sarcassem. Because of this this unrelated deformity to whether I am a suitable dog owner or just witty and high maitance with unwavering devotion to all canines I adopted my dream dog, a Corgi, into my life. He is everything short of spectacular, pulitzer, and religion recruiting. He is god sent.
However, A year ago I adopted a puppy off of Kijiji and turned my whole life upside down. This dog had never experienced human interaction or any minute of traing of any kind. She redirected any fantasy I had about a serene duo dog family I ever had.
She was scared of her own shadow and everybody else's shadow. I sprained my ankles four times in ten months with three being her fault.
It has been a year since I adopted my girl and I am living in hell. My dog pee's and poops EVERY time I leave the house. I have kenneled her in several types of Kennels but she breaks out everytime. She has lacerated her nose and broken three teeth trying to escape.
When I went back to Judy for help I was told that I would have to pay for the consultation and was referred to a behaviorist who charged $440 for an hour and half session. I was given other contacts later, however, you can only imagne how defeated and solitary I felt then. If she has the power to prescribe meds, perform surgery, treat animals....then why did I leave the office feeling helpless and scammed?
I have always recieved exeptional service from this clinic. They are attentive, insightful, and available to offer professional advice anytime.
Unfortunately, because of this last visit in which I feel there was a friend referal and serious lack of concern for my and my dogs well being, I have to go on the recommendation of my behaviorist and dog guide and switch vets. It is not only and always about the kids, sometimes its about the owners well being to.
I was just looking for reassurance and suggestion. It is a huge job taking in a rescue, especially of this calibur; instead I was informed of additional fees and told my behaviorist wasnt good enough. It is clear my dog need meds but clearer money talks. Unfortuately, I have no more money.
