Came in on a Friday night for the first time. It wasn't all that late for the bar scene - about 10:00 PM. It wasn't popping - which was nice. There are tons of beers on tap. Somewhere between 20 and 30. They're listed on a big chalk board where they can quickly erase and rewrite when kegs kick. Each space has a number beside it and if you want a flight you write up a small note with all the numbers of what you want to try. They even have a few bottles in the coolers.
There are plenty of games. Corn hole can even be played inside in the back when the weather isn't so good. There are board games and darts. Ample seating and space, though again it wasn't as packed as I'm sure it could've been. I guess as a result of there being so few people we were able to actually connect our own phone to the outdoor bluetooth speakers to play DJ with our own music.
In the end the emptiness of it made it feel a bit awkward actually. There was just one woman running the bar and another guy providing support off and on as needed. (I think he was in the midst of an intense corn hole game.) The few people there were equal parts tipsy and tired. The kind of drunk where they stare at you in a stupor and you hope they don't bother you. The place is alright, but what would make me second guess a return most would be the fact that they had so many Wicked Weed (sell-outs) and Sycamore (not so delicious) beers on tap. Really cool concept and name otherwise!
