  • One of my must visit places in Vegas for Thai food. My favorite dish: Thai Beef Jerky. Yum Yum Yum! (5 Stars just for this!) Most of the thai restaurants I've tried do not make it the way Lotus does. + 1 STAR for the selection of German Riesling (white wines). Try their 3 glass tasting sampler! Awesome! --- UPDATE 10/01/07: I came to Lotus for Lunch with Jim C. and my wife, as they are here for a work related conference and I was just here for the food! I had the $8.99 lunch buffet and boy was this disappointing. If I had never eaten anything a la carte from Lotus of Siam, I would NEVER have returned based on the food quality and taste of the items in the buffet. The Thai Red Curry Chicken was too watery and had no flavor except for being spicy. The Pad Thai was boring, too sweet and lacked limes and peanuts. The only star in the buffet bunch was the Beef Noodle soup. Please don't judge Lotus of Siam based on their buffet. Order from the MENU!!!
