  • This place is the most honest place with good mechanics. I have used Randy's Transmission for about 6 years for all my auto repairs and I will never use any other repair shop in the Mesa area. I sold new and used autos for over 20 years in the Mesa area so I have heard many stories about shoddy repairs and service writers always doing an upsell. It got so bad someone was almost asked if they wanted to have the muffler belt replaced on a safety inspection. Two weeks ago I stopped into another auto repair shop,Not Randy's, and needed a quick repair on a seatbelt in the rear seat of my GMC that my customers were going to ride in the morning to view homes. This repair shop was very close to my work so I could walk to work before the repair was finished. They called me and said it would cost over $400.00 to replace the seatbelt mechanism. I told them I could replace the whole truck for around $5000.00 so why would I replace a seatbelt mechanism for 400.00. I think they thought they had a live one on the hook. They also tried to tell me I needed about $1400.00 in other repairs when I walked over to pick up my truck. I asked for a seatbelt repair in the back seat, what were they doing under my hood to fix a seatbelt? I am sure you understad what they were doing by now. THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN WITH RUSS OR RANDY AT THEIR SHOP. THIS IS THE MOST HONEST REPAIR SHOP I HAVE USED IN THE 29 YEARS I HAVE LIVED IN MESA Just a short add to my seatbelt story. I told my 20 year old Son about that shop not being able to repair my seatbelt and the $400.00 cost for the replacement of the belt. He looked it up on Youtube and did the repair following the video to fix it and he is not a mechanic, just a college student. Randy's is the best and thanks for the great repaires you have done on my 3 autos. I recommend this place to all my friends and customers.
