| - I went to the location off of Shea blvd, first time for a sick visit and second time a few days later for an annual physical. Sick visit was because I was experiencing some worrisome symptoms, wanted to make sure most likely was nothing serious, even though I had a physical scheduled a few days later. The physician I saw had ok bedside manner, but certainly not the kind that makes you feel at ease right away. After a quick examination, determined nothing seemed serious, and commenting that many women my age (early 30's) come in experiencing these kind of symptoms which usually disappear on their own (okkkkkk, seems like a flaky answer). He knew I was coming in the following week to see a different physician for a physical, so suggested I go ahead and get my blood test done at that time since I was already there and they would the results on time for a my physical. Seems logical.
Few days later, come in for my physical. Meet the other Dr, prefer his overall demeanor much better. Does a typical physical exam, and obviously brings up my symptoms from my last visit there and goes over my blood results. Skip to a couple months later, get my billing statement, and of course in typical fashion, it's screwed up. They billed to my insurance the second visit as a sick visit and not a physical. Spoke with office rep as to why they did not submit claim as physical, says because during the exam my previous symptoms from my last visit were brought up...ummmm what?! I won't go into detail about the back and forth between my insurance and the dr's office, but overall , it really seems like shc could have cared less about the way they submitted my claim, and in no way tried to help me get this adjusted and resolved. Will not be going back there.
