I just finished a mediocre glass of wine, a decent salad, a mediocre, oddly small and definitely slightly undercooked - like a minute under al dente, portion of pasta served at a snail's pace. Coincidentally, I am a mediocre cook, but that said - I feel confident in my ability to produce a better cacio e pepe than I just had. Gloppy, too rich to finish. $75 for two salads, two plates of pasta and a glass of wine - ended up at the Italian place next door for a very satisfying meal there.
