i have been using this u hual location for at least 12 years on and off. i also have a unit at the rancho location (great staff). i have always come back to this location because it's so convenient and the staff is always helpful..
until today:
i rented a truck and a unit and returned later today to get my truck. my unit was unlocked (their lock) at the time but when i arrived at 7:15 approximately my unit was locked (thier lock) so i called the toll free # & she said angela would be out to remove their lock. to my suprise & the surprise of the 2 people with me she immediately began yelling at me saying it was my husbands fault he is the one that told her to leave the lock on. first of all he never dealt with her. why would he say that when he rented a truck to unload there later tonight which is why we paid extra for late hour service. she didn't stop there she went on & on about she wanted to be home with her family & we can't be calling after hours . this only made me more hostile so now i was not being nice nor was i caring that she came back after hours. this only caused me to have to contact corporate on my time. this was the most unprofessional experience i have ever had with someone that has the title of mangler. thank goodness for smart phones.
i will end with this if for some crazy reason she was right but she wasn't and there was some kind of misunderstanding about their lock on my paid unit. i would have been very apologetic because mistakes happen. it's obvious she has never made a mistake and in this instance we didn't either. i will keep my unit here for the 2 months i have am supposef to have it gor. in hopes that management changes and i can continue to stay here.
