This event was great in early 2012 when tickets were $12. Then the organizers got greedy, made up themes for that month's event and started to charge $25 to enter. Still, starting from June 2012's event, I went to each event.
There were some standout food items for sure but generally, you pay anywhere from $3-8 for any food sampling. It averages out to $5 per. Of all that gets consumed during any particular event, I'd say that 20% is really good, 40% is above average, 20% is average and 20% you regret buying.
I'd probably spend about $45 on food and drink while I am there which does make for an expensive but worthwhile night but that was only when it was an affordable event to attend. Due to the high cost of entry, this is no longer an event I wish to throw my money away at. The entry fee can more than pay for an entire meal of something that I know that I will enjoy. To top it off, with food, the amount spent could be more than $80. It's made it hard to justify attending any of the 2013 events.
