  • Booked a stay at TI (Treasure Island) 9/9/09-9/12/09 and had a pretty good experience. Since MGM-Mirage Corp. doesn't own this property any more I didn't know what to expect. Overall the hotel was great for what we paid......which was for the standard Deluxe Room. I've stayed at worst hotels for more money! We got the TI Direct Advantage Rate Promo because we booked 2 months in advanced. We were put on the Top Floor - 36th floor with a strip view!!!! Not bad for your basic room. Hotel - Nice and clean, no line to check-in (it was 9:00 pm). Centrally located on strip - across from Palazzo, Venetian, Wynn, Encore and Fashion Show Mall. Tram to Mirage. Business center wanted $5.00 to print your boarding pass plus $1.00 additional per person......seemed a little high. Room - Nice and large, seemed updated. High ceilings. Flat screen TV with some HD channels. Radio/clock with dock for Ipod. Big roomy bathroom and a shower head that was very powerful! Our room had a strip view of Encore, Wynn, Palazzo, Stratosphere, etc.....and a view of the Sirens of TI show. The bed was REALLY comfortable with a nice soft down comforter. I was surprised at how comfy the bed was. Safe in closet. Iron but.....NO IRONING BOARD?? Casino - Very tight slots. No 5 cent Triple Plays. Most 1 cent slots, TI converted to 2 cent slots now. Slow cocktail service. Sometimes none at all......this was late at night though.....but still! Pool - Small, but it gets the job done. Slow cocktail service - had to actually go up to the bar and get our own drinks a few times. Outside of the perimeter of the pool, the wood and concrete floor can be slippery with wet feet. Restaurants - Canter's Deli, Good. The Coffee Shop, OK - not many breakfast selections......would of liked to see build your own omelet selection. The Steak House, Good but pricey......had a problem there but will rate on it's own page. Nightclub - Didn't like......outside patio is nice. Will rate this one on it's own page.
