  • Went to Bouchon for lunch on a Saturday. We couldn't make a reservation ahead of time. It was first come first serve. When we arrived, we noticed that a few tables at the bar area were empty. Unwilling to wait, we just randomly grabbed a table and settled in. 45 minutes later, after 4 attempts, we were finally able to flag down a server to get some service. By that time, the restaurant slowed down a bit so we were able to transfer out to the outdoor patio area. We ordered a few drinks and food items. Food was just okay. Best part of the meal was their freshly baked baguettes and butter. I expect top notch service at a fancy restaurant! This was totally NOT the case. Their service was unacceptable. I would not come back.
