  • Montreal is rather lacking in good pubs, so the Burgundy Lion is a much appreciated spot to go for a casual dinner or pint with friends. Decor is fun, with lots of British cultural references on the walls. Food is usually reliably decent and they have a good selection of beers on tap and wine by the glass. There's also an impressive list of whiskey if that's your thing. Service is usually good but can get a little slow when they are busy.
