| - STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEIR MINI VACATIONS! COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM!
I attended a vacation presentation and was promised a free gift. Drove 2 hours and sat through 90 minutes of crap... Did not buy BUT did foolishly buy a $149 mini vacation because my sales person Nicholas Hansel, swore up and down that we could use it for the Doubletree Hilton on Doheny, Beach. First off, my free gift was bs! I tried to use it and they attempted to hit me with hundreds in charges!
When I tried 12 -13 times to book my mini vacation on Doheny Beach, they never had any availability. I was completely lied to, misled--complete false advertisement to get me to buy the $149 mini vacation. I tried to book Doheny beach one more time for 9/8-9/11 for my daughter's bday --again not available (big surprise!!!) but then was offered their property in San Clemente, a Best Western.Completely sub par compared to Doheny--but at least it was near the beach and decent. I considered it just to be done with this company and get something for my $149.
They tell me they have availability but due to the fact that their are no tour presentations available that weekend, they can not give me a reservation (oh yes, they wanted me to sit through another 2 hour presentation on my mini vacation as well)! What? Seriously? I also spoke with a supervisor Victor Pena--who was USELESS! He did nothing to help resolve my issues except try to extort me for $60 more! Claiming, "if you give me $60 over the phone for two guests, I can attempt to get you approved for a presentation"...
Please do yourself a favor---stay far away from Diamond Resorts International. They are bullshit, their product is BS...
I am currently on the phone with my credit card company demanding my money back from these scammers! False advertising to the max!!!!
