The last time I went to get a cleaning I had a bad experience but decided to wait it out before making a review. I had an appointment today and left upset. I'll explain both experiences.
Cleaning Appointment end of 2015- They had my mothers phone number listed under my name so she kept getting text reminders for my appointments, this doesn't work for me since we are both busy and my mom isn't the best with technology. I called and asked them to please update my phone number because I was not receiving any updates and they told me they were not able to change the number listed. I go to my appointment and wait one hour to get called back, when I get seated, a girl asks me if I would mind waiting longer because they were about to have a staff meeting, I told her I kind of did mind because I had to get to work and was already waiting long. She told me it would only be another 5 minutes. I waited another 20 minutes. The dental hygienist finally came and she was extremely rude and definitely not gentle when it came to cleaning. This was by far the worst cleaning experience I've had. Even when I flinched and told her it was hurting, she did not stop, say sorry, or try to be more gentle. She kept jabbing my gums with the pick instead of getting in between my teeth and was just really rough. This only took about 5 minutes and my appointment was over.
Todays appointment - I called yesterday to ask if I was up for an appointment and they told me I had missed 2 already. I told them I had not received any reminders and wasn't aware of the appointments. It turns out they were texting my mom again (she was out of country for vacation- and like I mentioned to them before busy so that info didn't get relayed to me) I asked her to change the number again and the lady on the phone was very nice and got it fixed for me. She told me that she could set an appointment for an exam and xray. When I get there today I waited 45 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. The doctor just looked at my teeth with a pick then said I was good to go. I mentioned how yesterday I was told I was going to get an x-ray too and he said we wouldn't be doing that today and would have to be done in a couple months instead. It was less than 4 minutes that I was seen by the doctor. Then I had to go to the waiting room again and wait to schedule a cleaning appointment. I felt that appointment was completely unnecessary and a waste of time.
I am only giving 2 stars because the staff for the most part is nice.
They should however, work on their scheduling.
