  • Apparently they have a student discount but it only applies to gel nails and waxing I think? Super bummed to find that out half way through getting my acrylics on. Should probably advertise that the discount on applies to that. Anyways, had my najls done here last week. Got a pedicure and it was alright. The older man doing my nails cleaned up my feet and had someone paint my toes because a lady who requests him usually had shown up. I had gotten a callus removed done to remove some bad ones on my heel. However, after leaving me to attend the lady who ended up sitting next to me, I felt my feet and still felt skin that still needed to be scrubbed off. Now I think at this part, he has already started working on the other person's feet when he noticed me touching my heel. He had asked what was wrong, I told him, and he came and scrubbed my heel with a nail file. This part I cant recall if he JUST used it on the lady next to me cause he didnt dig through his cart for it, it was on hand. Nice guy, but either way this grossed me out. Then went to get my acrylics on and this dude was digging up into my cuticles so hard and fast. When he went to buff it, I could feel the heat of the machine. Never have I seen someone rush so fast and half-ass my nails. Theyd do one thing to my nails but would miss a nail or two in the process cause he was rushing so much. Didnt even bother to clean of residue underneath the nails. Cant even paint nails right as theres still opaque layers of my nail polish, which was a dark purple gray. On top of that, he had me wait under the UV lamps on the side of the front of the store for my nails to dry, telling me he'd come check on me in 10-15 min. So here I am, under 1 of the 2 lights of the right side since one was broken. The guy leaves to smoke, comes back and I waited a good 30 min before the guy finally comes back after his chats with other staff in the back and says "Tired? You can pay now" WITHOUT looking at my nails or even checking to begin with. Only came here to get my nails done before a wedding since I didnt wanna make an hour trip back home for another salon, so this was my first time here and last resort. Next time, I'll just make the trip home! Save yourself the headache unless you're really desperate and this is your last resort!
