  • Pleasant, competent, everything we expected from a mid-range hotel without any unpleasantness often encountered in the hospitality business. This is perhaps my least creative review (to date), but that's perhaps for the best for something as essential as a good bed, a good breakfast, and a quiet room. The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Calgary Downtown was a solid, dependable place to rest our heads, have a hot bath, and a breakfast before moving on to the rest of our road trip.
