  • I've tried them 4 times at the farmer's market; scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. and it's just not great, not memorable, like biting into a stick of butter. Metcalf's bakery is better. I looked over a couple reviews and apparently the cheese bread is good -- but I don't want to look like a cheese bread, so that's out for me. The reason I will never be back is the smirking lady at the farmer's market that INSISTs on giving us dollar coins in change; and smirks at the same time she hands them to us. Every single time. And she sighs when I say I don't want them. For this customer service with a negative attitude alone, I will not be back. There are too many other stands at the farmer's market that have better, healthier options. But hey, if you like artery-clogging cinnamon rolls and heavy coins that no other business takes, go for it.
