  • Made multiple mistakes with charges. Including charging $20/day for a 'resort' fee when their pool was closed for construction the entire stay, they had no accommodations set for their guests as far as a set up with a neighboring hotel for their pool, basically no solution or option. When questioned about the other including factors for a 'resort' stay, their response was 2 complimentary water bottles and a cup of keurig coffee. Once my friend and I got to our room, it was the wrong room and not what was paid for. When we called front desk they said if we came back down with our own bags they would move us correctly... Thanks, it's fine... We just drove several hours to Las Vegas for a good time. By that time, just just want to shower and begin your vacation. So we left a message and our room number and contact #s to answer our questions and concerns. Two days later, never heard from her. Our last night there, we found baby roaches in our room which was pleasant. Upon check out we were hit with surprising daily fees for staying in a "RESORT" room. We requested to speak & handle issues with the manager. She claimed that she never received any voicemails and apologized for MISCOMMUNICATION and took ONE resort fee off only because we were checking out a day early... She did nothing further and made no wrongs right. My sons father is a manager of a 5 star resort in Scottsdale,az, so to me, this "hospitality" was horrendous. There was absolutely never a time that this hotel made us feel like valued guests what so ever. So Hooters hotel and casino, you have no value to me. After leaving the hotel an hour later after checking our bank accounts we had to call the manager back to speak with her about a couple $100s overcharged to our accounts. She only then apologized for the impression and mistakes her unorganized, unwelcoming, rude staff had made. Her resolution??? A whopping bite sized percentage off if we date to come back to pay money to stay there once more. The percentage was enough to cover taxes. My advice? Pay the extra $25-50/ night to stay in an actual resort on the strip, it's worth the convenience and service you're paying for without cockroaches spending there own nightly stay in your "resort room" on your vacation.
