My husband and I chose Baku for a weeknight dinner date during Queen's Feast. We've heard great things about the place and definitely were not disappointed.
Atmosphere:
Cool, eclectic vibe. Host, bussers, and waiters were very attentive and personable.
Food Must-Haves:
-Chili-glazed edamame. My mouth waters just typing about it - it was seriously SO good. Do it.
-Brussels sprouts were also delicious.
-Potstickers are also a very solid choice. Ours were piping hot and the dipping sauce was very tasty.
-Robata Grilled Atlantic Salmon (entree) was seriously one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had.
-Green Tea Creme Brulee (because it's creme brulee...duh)
So-So items:
-Spicy Himachi Rice Krispie Treat (appetizer)... didn't taste like much, and definitely NOT spicy (bummer). Nothing to write home about.
-USDA Prime NY Strip... pretty fatty, came out in thin strips. Again, nothing to write home about.
Overall, we'll be back, Restaurant Week or not!
