| - I decided to come here the night after racking my brain over where I wanted to eat. I could not for the life of me decide where I wanted to go. It's a semi fine dining restaurant with affordable pricing.
I went with 2 other friends. We each ordered appetizers and an entree. We ordered the grilled octopus, portobello mushrooms, and spinach and crab dip as appetizers. The grilled octopus was overly chewy. I just kept chewing and chewing and chewing. The flavor wasn't that great either. I liked the spinach dip, but didn't like the crab that went on top. They offered 6 pita bread pieces, which I didn't feel like was enough bread. I had tons of dip leftover after using up the pita. I LOVED the portobello fries! It's huge pieces of the mushroom cap lightly battered and deep fried. The mushrooms were very moist and the batter was crunchy and delicious. My friend ordered a steak salad, and it was delicious! The dressing was a bit sweet, but I loved the feta cheese. The jambalaya was okay. I've never had jambalaya, so I don't know if it was the best I've ever had. I ordered a mushroom and bacon spaghetti but I wanted linguine instead. It was a creamy sauce and really delicious.
For dessert, we ordered the trio which came with a mini creme brule, flourless chocolate cake, and ice cream. The flourless chocolate cake tasted really rich.
All in all, I had a great time. I would definitely go again. My only issue is that they should a bit more variety on the menu. They do have a ton of appetizers, so the next time I go I might just order a bunch of those.
