  • Fantastic show! This Broadway show is really amazing and unique in that the actors not only act and sing, but have to play their instruments live! And it is LIVE, so you get a slightly different performance each night. One real-life night in 1956 (I think) four legends --- Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins --- all were together at Sun Studios in Memphis, and the show is a fictional account of what might have happened on that night. No one knows for sure, but they give an interesting take on how it might have happened. Standout performers all around... Martin Kaye is great as Jerry Lee, the backing band is awesome, and the beautiful Felice Garcia adds some feminine talent as the only female on stage, playing Elvis' girlfriend. Even if you aren't a fan of this music, you will really like this show!
