The emoloyees here are rude. I spoke with Courtney in their authorization department who spoke in a condescending way. I called to verify if an authorization was obtained and with attitude said "I am not giving you that." I clearly was asking if one was obtained, verifying information when you're in charge of the patients care isn't against HIPAA. I asked to speak with the manager, who was rude herself and has absolutely no clue what she's doing. She wasn't able to give me a definitive answer if an auth is needed for skilled nursing vs long term care. I wouldn't want these people sending claims out on my behalf.
