  • I love Las Vegas with all the good, bad, unsightly, and just plain hideous. I LOVE the story of Moulin Rouge and I get chills driving by it on Bonanza. Now, I normally drive by as quickly as I can, because I'm a chicken, and corner of Bonanza and H after dark scare the living day lights out of me. Until today! While doing my usual flight down Bonanza, I spotted Tenaya Creek brewery! Right there, in the flesh, in the sketchiest part of town possible! I don't know when or how this happened, but respect to the ones that made it possible. I pulled into the lot, got out of the car and patronized the night away! Kudos for opening a bar in such a scary part of town. Cheers to doing it across the street from the former legendary Moulin Rouge. Salute for serving delicious beer and board games! Now, there's no food...no gaming...no smoking, the bar is open only till midnight...ok, so I don't smoke or eat that much and rarely stay up past 11. But I like having an option. It feels weird without it. At any rate, welcome to DTS, Tenaya!
