  • Excellent Saturday Lunch Tour with Zach! After, we even made a dinner reservation at one of the restaurants. Success in finding some great local spots to try on the remainder of our vacation! THE TOUR: Good history of the city and buildings without being too overwhelming. We were visiting mid-July so it was HOT but Zach was good about keeping us in the shade, and he also had umbrellas available I really liked that at the beginning of the tour we received a map with the location and names of the restaurants we would be visiting. Not being familiar with the area it helped me to see it all laid out. Also, you end up about a mile from the starting point so Zach gave us directions to walk, or take the (free) trolley back. We took the trolley and it was very simple. Zach gave us a 5mins heads up before leaving each place so enough time to use the restroom or cash out (if ordering drinks). We felt well-paced. Our total tour was 3.5hr with 5 stops PRO-TIP: If you're not familiar with the starting point of your tour, check a map before you leave home. Give yourself a few extra minutes too. THE RESTAURANTS: The five locations we visited (keeping in mind each tour is slightly different): 1- The Mission 2- Malee's Thai Bistro 3- 5th & Wine 4- Cowboy Ciao 5- Super Chunk All of the food was really great but The Mission and Malee's really stood out to our group. The restaurants were well prepared for us, and I really liked that they had full or take-home menus available on the table so we could see more of what they had to offer for the future. We did order drinks at most places and they were prompt with bringing the drinks out and the payment process so we weren't holding up the tour DIETARY RESTRICTIONS: If you have them, make sure to note it in the comments section when you reserve. It will only make your experience better. Out of four in my group I think each of us had something (veggie, no seafood, no alcohol, etc) and the restaurants did a great job of accommodating us all
