  • I would like to acknowledge the girl that handled our delivery order on the evening of Thursday February 11th (around 9:30pm). We were having a tonne of trouble ordering through justeat.ca (they missed the order, said they placed it, then called again half an hour later saying they didn't place it) it was a nightmare. However this wonderful gem that worked at New York Cafe took the time to call me personally and make sure I was okay and happy. She even went as far as including a hand written note in our order wishing us a wonderful evening and apologizing for how the order went even though none of the problems had been because of her. I've been working in the hospitality business for over a decade and I really appreciated this above and beyond service. Food was good, but I will be returning for the service! :)
