  • Definitely trendy. The coffee, food and service are good, but not remarkable. As a coffee shop, it does a lot of things right -- there's great music and tables have a mix of people working and people talking. After going to Lux for about six months, I think what keeps the regulars coming back is the environment -- their atmosphere is top-notch and the workers are helpful. It's constantly packed, but you still manage to find a place to sit. The menu has enough variety to keep you interested. I love mornings when there's a DJ around. It's understandably busy on weekend mornings, but there has clearly been some effort to make the process more efficient. I say plan to wait a little bit if you go for brunch; the coffee and bakery are better order options if you don't have much time.
