First I would consider myself a very informed buyer I know a good deal from a crappie one.
i went to sands to trade a car they had originally sold to me. As soon as the 6 month mark hit on the car they were on it calling me non-stop to trade the car in. I would tell them that the car was still nice and I don't want to trade it. They were persistent and one day it sounded so good I decided to pay them a visit. They were having a hard time convincing me until they rolled up exactly what I was looking for, now the deal was far from perfect but with a little negotiating I was sold. I drove off that day in a 2011 chevy equinox, loved it! I signed all the paperwork it was Saturday so the deal was far from approved by the bank on there end all speculation on what they thought they would be able to work out. No surprise the ball was dropped the moment I drove off the lot. I had the car about a week and heard nothing on who I should be making my car payment to so I gave them a call and was told I would get a call back, 4 more days pass I get a call saying we got you approved for even lower interest rates please come in and sing off on the new intrest. I went in on memorial day my time is very precious I waited and waited while they searched for some one who was aware of the situation. Every one had different information, finally Hestin one of the (GSMs ) showed and said we need to put you in a 2014 equinox. I questioned why and what was going on. The bank did not like the deal as it was submitted. He told me he would have some more eyes look at it get it all approved, he would call me to switch them out. I left waiting on a call. After a few more days I call again of course no one is available to speak to about the matter I left message after message nothing but the run around. They have absolutely no sense of urgency or follow through. I finally left a message saying I would be in that Saturday have your ducks in a row I do not want to be sitting around waiting for someone to figure out the mess they made. Saturday came all ducks were array. I don't know how you can successfully run a business with no communication. THE KILLER THEY TOLD ME THEY GOT A 2014 MALIBU APPROVED! WITH 2500 DOWN. LIE NUMBER...I'VE LOST COUNTED THIS IS
UNACCEPTABLE for one i absolutly dislike Malibu ' s they are not my style which I expressed numerous times. I most definitely will not be put in something i don't like even with all the good game they spit. So i gave them there car back and drove off with my fully loaded impala. These people are a mess ,tell you what you want to hear! To make a sale. I'm sure I'm not the first or the last of people you will try to hoax into a deal. However I'm not insensitive to the fact not everyone can do a honest days work. Just a tip :a satisfied customer will tell 10 people about there experience and 20 about a bad one. Just a thought next time you over promise and under deliver.
