Because the hubs enjoys sashimi we had to visit this visually appealing restaurant. Quite trendy and inviting.
The selection of sashimi was extensive and his mouth was apparently having a party hehe. His fave is hamachi but he ordered many other varieties.
Because I'm still trying sashimi, I ordered from their 'warm plates'. The jidori chicken was surprisingly tasty. I have had my share of sushi restaurant cooked entrees and you really go to these places for the sushi/sashimi so I don't expect much. This entree was made with love and sympathy for those who enjoy cooked goodies.
So the hubs and I both enjoyed this dining experience. He was happy for me since he can tell that I was elated with my entree decision.
For the dessert, I chose the berries warabi which was an assortment of mixed berries, ginger creme, green tea-dusted warabi, and soy milk gelato. Hubs enjoyed the choco lychee that was a chocolate mousse cake, w/lychee vanilla jelly and chocolate soy milk ice cream.
This place is overall a delight for both sushi/sashimi and/or warm entrees.
It's a casual environment but the dress code description on MGM's link reads as 'business casual'. We must have had the acceptable attire because the dress code was the last thing in our vacationing minds.
Reservations are highly recommended but we dined there before the dinner rush so we just walked in.
