rev:text	The Beauty Bar is a really great downtown LV destination if you either 1-want to go to an outdoor concert no matter what time of the year it is or 2-you want to go to a hip hop type dance club. It's basically like 2 venues in one in that the front is the main bar (club area) with a small stage that could host a small concert with a big patio out back that hosts all kinds of shows from metal to punk to indie rock to honkey tonk country, they host them all! Yes, it's a little bit (or a lot) hot in the middle of the summer out there and it's a bit cold in the winter but this venue pulls it off with very few hitches. They have some of those umbrella style propane heaters and it's a relatively inclosed area that seems to trap the heat so the winter shows are more comfortable than you would expect. I'm not sure what they do on the rare occasion that it rains but I'm guessing they either cancel the show or move it inside if the attendance is small enough. The back also has a bar now so you don't have to go all the way inside to get a drink like you used to a couple years ago. It's a bit tight to get out through the indoor bar when the show completes at midnight because of all the clubbers inside but usually they eventually open the back gate so you can exit that way to avoid the bottleneck inside. The only reason this is not 5 stars is that personally, I'm not much of a fan of the bathroom attendants. It seems to be sort of an east Fremont figure but I just don't need someone to hand me a paper towel, thank you. Either way though, I'll definitely be back. Probably when they host the next metal show!
