  • I felt robbed by this auto shop. My wife & I took our 2011 Jaguar XJ in for a Head Gasket job in February 2016. In May, they had us come to pay & pick up our vehicle. Within minutes of the cards being swiped & paperwork signed, they come and tell us that it's still not fixed. They, then said, we'll give you a call in a few days. If we had known that our car wasn't fixed we wouldn't have given them $6800. The main problem is that they tricked us into signing the paperwork, knowing my car wasn't properly repaired. We stayed in contact and kept getting excuses as to why it wasn't fixed yet. In July (5th month), we had to go out of town for the whole month and we let them know we would be out of town & to keep us in the loop regarding the repairs. We didn't receive one phone call about progress for that entire month. When we returned in August, we find out that our vehicle is not at the shop where we initially took it & they never got permission to do this. We had to go back & forth for weeks before I ever saw my car again and it still wasn't fixed. In October (month 8), we still didn't have our car. We paid cash & credit and have to pay for a service that wasn't done correctly. They took it to the Jaguar dealership for help because they had taken it apart already 4 or more times & couldn't get it right. The Jaguar dealership told us it was the timing that was causing the now issue, but Purrfect/AAA Auto Repair said it was now a fuel pump problem, disregarding the Jag mechanic. By the time we got the car back, it was missing parts, ie. engine cover & skid plate. This has been, by far, the worst business transaction & customer service experience I've ever had in my life. I would just like to report this so that no other person; especially a veteran, has to go through this with these people.
