There is no doubt that this should be the busiest pub in town. It's large, cooks aren't too bad and every Sunday on the long weekend has lines waiting to get in if you show after 11. Most of the servers are sweet and helpful. They employ good cooks who can put an excellent ethnic twist on many of the daily specials. The location is good and the patio is large.
Here is the bad:
The decor is aged, I've seen a grown man piss inside the middle of the bar, food specials are gone, many of the special nights are tired, and the beer menu is less than inspired. On busy nights they do not have enough staff and you're better off to buy two drinks at once. It's not too shabby a joint to find a single on a busy night if you have half a personality and the ability to buy a drink.
The day and evening crowd are completely different. Many of the regulars are some of the best and nicest people you'll meet. There are a few servers who albeit at times over worked are among the best you'll find.
