  • My favorite place for Thai in Charlotte. A little more expensive than it should be in my opinion, but tasty none the less. 2 items that I always order when having Thai is Pad Thai (something easy to bench mark across all Thai restaurants) and larb - my favorite Thai salad. Both are great at Deejai. I usually ask for a little spice to be added to the larb as they make it very mild. Curries have all been good - quality pieces of meat are always used (isn't it the worst when you have a curry and get a dodgy piece of meat?!). Another plus about Deejai is that it's just as good if you eat in, take out or use a delivery service. While I'm not a fan of Asian places that do 2 types of cuisine (why not just stick to one and make it great) the Thai side of the menu does not seem to suffer. I've yet to try the Japanese items because it's a Thai restaurant. Ambiance in the restaurant is nice, dark-ish, usually a fair amount of people which would make it a nice spot for date night, but isn't overly fancy. Worth a try to satisfy your Thai craving.
