  • Four stars for beer and the patio, one star for most of the food. OHSO is a fun neighborhood spot that has a huge selection of local craft beer, including some made in house. You can even make your own and have it on tap. The draft beer can be a bit warm if it's one of the less popular taps, as the beer has to travel a ways from the refrigerated keg room to the tap. So that's my only complaint about the beer: you might get a warm glass once in a while. The back patio is great: dog friendly, with fans and misters, and CROWDED on weekends. Quite a scene, but the crowd runs the gamut from early 20s to well heeled Arcadia neighborhood denizens in their 50s and 60s. The food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. I feel like the menu is a bit large and ambitious for a craft beer bar, or for what the kitchen can pull off. Food is uneven and sometimes the quality isn't what you'd expect. Examples as burned burgers that are ordered medium rare, or shrimp tacos that (I swear) used poached cocktail shrimp and store bought mission tortillas. I feel like the fold could be so much better if they streamlined a bit and found a "theme" (right now it's american, mexican, Asian, and a few other things). I wouldn't come here for the food alone. But if you're looking for something to munch on while you drink your beer the kitchen will be just fine.
