  • I happened to be surfing my previous Yelp reviews and had to write one about Presidio.. I posted two photos but must have forgot to write my commentary! I'm giving 2 stars - one each for the two things I liked about living here. First, was my view from the third floor apt I lived in. AMAZING view of the Vegas strip!! (At a cost, of course-) but it was so worth the extra 20 bucks tacked onto my rent and the 36-stair climb upward every day. Many nights I sat out on the balcony and just gazed at the strip- Nice! Second, I totally loved the floor plan of this 1 bedroom apt. It was awesome. Full of windows and bright light inside! The bedroom had double doors that opened up from the living room, and decent size walk-in closet. There was a nice little sitting area underneath the bedroom window and built in shelves on each side for pictures, etc. I loved that floor plan!! Kitchen cabinets were a cool cherry stain color and the nice full size washer and dryer was a bonus. Ahem. I miss that apartment except for the NOISE!! Living on the 3rd floor I didn't get too much foot traffic noise, but my neighbors below me were horrible, worst ever!! Constantly fighting with each other, screaming outside in the parking lot, off the balcony, slamming doors in the middle of the night, like an episode of COPS down there. The sad part was, the woman had just delivered a baby while I lived there, so obviously the poor infant had to grow up with them and their nightmarish, noisy parenting! They put their Christmas tree right outside their front door still in the stand, and it sat there for almost 5 weeks!!! Can you say, ghetto??? The lady that lived across from my bedroom window in the next building over had this forest creature-looking weird dog that would perch himself on the couch on the balcony and bark at everything and everyone that walked past two stories below. At all times of the day. So annoying!! I called the office to file a noise complaint, but nothing ever changed with that psycho barking mutt. Grrr...There were always weird, suspicious, creepy-looking people walking around there day and night, and their Security Guard was equally as creepy. As far as apartments go, not the worst. If a bunch of noise outside and surrounding you isn't a problem, not a horrible place.
