GOOD FOOD, LOTS OF IT & FRIENDLY SERVICE: My GF and I went on a Saturday evening and it was packed. We had to wait about 10 min to be seated. I recently went on a low carb diet so my selections were limited. I went with the Kalua Pork & cabbage with a tossed salad. Very savory and I could have easily hurt myself eating if there was 2 to 3 times as much in my bowl. Pork was super tender as was the cabbage. Will be trying the Oxtail soup next time. And there will be a next time.
Oh! BTW: The Kona coffee was nice and strong.
This is a small setting in a strip mall and if you're not the laid back & patient type you may be put off when the servers get busy. It's a regular folks kind of place so don't expect strip resorts level of service. But you will see an honest effort. Respect begets respect.
