I was thrilled that Aria finally got a Mexican restaurant and was excited to try it this weekend. I was impressed but not blown away. I grew up in WA and live in CA so I've had a lot of great Mexican food. I was expecting a little more punch from the signature jalapeno margarita but after stabbing the chiles with my straw, I was able to extract a little more heat. The guac, spinach enchiladas, and Javier's salad were all good but not much more exciting than you get from your average good Mexican spot. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm at Aria because I love Mexican food but I wouldn't go too much out of your way to go here. Overall, go for lunch if you're staying at Aria.
