  • Pittsburgh is unusually lacking any good Asian grocers. This was the closest I could find and compared to the ones in Philadelphia this can't even compete. However, considering that it's Pittsburgh, this is probably the best Asian store around. While the location is a little far I am willing to trek all the way to Lotus for a few ingredients that only they have in stock! It holds all sorts of miscellaneous food stuffs that I am always dying to try. The prices are pretty good and I always leave spending 10 dollars less than I thought I'd spend. They have tofu there that is really really cheap! It is also a little questionable how they serve it but, I've never denied myself some discount tofu. While the baked goods there temptingly cheap - they are not fresh so I'd stay away from those. Overall I'd say that I need to go for another lotus run
