Squirrel Hill is one of the best areas in Pittsburgh for diverse dining options, but it is still nice seeing a place serving up good ol' fashioned American amidst all the other cultures.
The space is long and narrow with a bar to the left right when you walk in. Murray Avenue Grill is not what I would call fancy; it's more so a traditional bar and grill, but the booths also reminded me of a family restaurant. They serve traditional American items like burgers, wraps, salads, etc. In terms of taste, flavors were okay. Our party of three ordered fish tacos, a hamburger and a veggie burger. I can only speak on the fish tacos which were rather bland and ordinary.
Although the food was ok, the service was on point. The gentleman taking care of us was very attentive and friendly when we had questions. Food also came out very quickly and we were in and out.
Overall, dinner wasn't all that special and I may or may not come back. With all the other options in this area, it's hard to choose this spot over the others.
