  • FINALLY found a great barbershop. I moved to Las Vegas in Feb 2014 and have tried many, many barbershops. I can tell you stories. Once again, I searched for a new one based on yelp and found Town & Country. I walked in and was greeted right away. Efren was available and he called me over. He asked what kind of cut I liked. I told him and recommended a different cut based on my face, hair etc. We were talking and I was telling him all about my bad haircut experiences in LV. As he was buzzing, he kept asking me questions about how I liked it. When he got done he said, now it the time to make corrections if you want anything different. I asked for a few modifications and he complied. He took his time to make sure that I got what I wanted. How refreshing, a barber that actually listens in this town. After the cut, he trimmed all the right places with a straight razor and put on a hot towel. I haven't had that experience in a long time. When he was done he asked how I like it and showed me the back. PERFECT! He even took a picture so that he could have a reference for the future. I was very happy and pleased. After a year and a half of searching, I found my barber. Very old school at this barber, but cutting edge as well. The place was immaculate, bright and welcoming. All the barbers wear ties. Very impressive and professional. Efren is the owner and said that I could text or call him for an appointment or having a standard set time and day. I chose to text. He got back to me right away and I was booked. I went back today for my second visit. I was early and he was cutting a young gentleman's hair and said I was up next. Efren started my cut early and again everything was perfect. He looked at my prior picture and cut it to specs. It took him about an hour and it was great. We had great conversation. I can really appreciate the time he takes on cuts. That's great service with a smile. If Efren needs to take a call for an appointment, he excuses himself, apologizes and gets back to you quickly. He even will put new warm shaving cream on you where he left off. Let's talk about an old school gentleman. You do not see that very often any longer. All of the other guys in the shop seem cool as well. Everyone talks to you, not just your barber. It's not so much as to be distracted though. I can tell you, other shops even fight with each other while trying to cut your hair. Ask me and I can share stories about a lot of barbershops in the area. I recommend Town & Country without hesitation. Go there for an awesome cut the way you like it. Prices are reasonable. I would pay whatever they wanted for a cut. They take credit/debit cards too. I choose to tip with cash if I need to use my card. They are worth every penny!
