  • As a critical care nurse and nurse administrator I have to say I am ashamed of what I saw in terms of nursing staff in the ER. I came here with a relative and experienced what seemed like a bad dream. Nurses were rude and argumentative. But what is really worse is that they are not following guidelines learned early on in nursing school. My relative was placed in a bed, no call light given, no bedside table, no introduction of who was caring for him and no response to constant beeping of alarms on monitor. IVs were not hooked up as needed, antibiotics were not given (as ordered) and when questioned nurses were not helpful. Rooms were filthy, trash on bathroom floors and there was no order or even acknowledgement of patients needs and concerns. I am shocked that this hospital is up and running! Someone needs to look into it. Go somewhere else if you can.
