Let me qualify that I'm a fan of the restaurants and not so much the other stores. Other than Vons and Total Wine, of course. Total Wine has a free for all liquor sampling on
Saturdays that is unrivaled.
I guess Ross can be counted as one of the good stores too. There's always fun people watching from the patio at Gordon Biersch, where we usually camp out on Saturdays. Nothing like watching young, able bodied people jockeying for a parking space within a stone's throw of their chosen business. Me, I'm happy to park near Vons or Total Wine.
Kona Grill has great sushi prices at happy hour, but you're taking a chance on finding seats. The outdoor seating at Grimaldi's is also quite nice. I don't shop at the weird boutiquey stores at the Village, cause they're weird. I've been to Panera a few times, and am boycotting Lee's Liquor after they refused to let me use their restroom.
The big question is, what's up with the still vacant anchor space formerly The Great Outdoors? So many possibilities, but how has no one opened a giant plastic surgery center here, when so many people in Summerlin obviously would flock to it??
