  • Horst's is an establishment in Madison, and donut lovers should rush to try their perfectly made dough delights! In a quaint, always decorated for the holidays location, Horst's serves up fresh donuts made in the Madison hilltop location, as well as made-to-order breakfasts. Love traditional goetta?! They have a delicious goetta platter (or you can order as a side). This place is quite small, which makes it so welcoming and home-y, but that means you may have to wait a minute or two for a seat, if you're eating in. The coffee is hot, the food is delicious, and the wait staff is sweet as can be. This used to be a no-tipping establishment (all tips went to charity and staff was paid higher than tipping restaurants) but this has recently been whited out on the menu.
