  • First American Home Warranty sent out L&S to fix our heater. We submitted our claim DECEMBER 9TH 2016....is it now the 29th. First time they went out, the tech let us know that the heater motor was burnt out and would have to report it back to First American Home Warranty so that they can get a new motor. Cool no problem, that's understandable. 2,3,4 days go by. A week later we call back to First American Home Warranty to see when they were going to send out another tech and it took them an extra 2 days to get a tech out there. Once the tech got there, he climbed up on the roof, and within 5 minutes he comes back down to tell us that the previous tech took the motor so he could not service it. WHY DID THE PREVIOUS TECH NO REPORT TO L&S THAT HE WAS TAKING THE BURNT OUT MOTOR WITH HIM?!?!?!?! I called American Home Warranty to see what the issue was and when could I expect this to be fixed. they told me that they would look into it and give us a call back. Again, 2 days 3 days went by, and no word from American Home Warranty OR L&S. Finally I call American Home Warranty and they tell me that they are having a hard time getting a hold of L&S. The next day we call American Home Warranty again to see what was going on, and they let us know that L&S was finally going to send one out the next day. The following day the tech shows and tells us the same thing that the previous tech told us....THERE'S NO MOTOR!!!!! I called American Home Warranty 2 days ago and they told us that they were going to have someone out there today with the motor. First off, the arrival window was from 9 AM - 3 PM. The "supervisor" that i was speaking with at American Home Warranty told me to not to worry that they would have everything taken care of today. I asked her what if they do not show up, then what. She said don't worry they will be there. Cool. 3:00 PM comes around and nothing, not a single call from L&S or American Home Warranty. Finally i call in to American Home Warranty and they told me that the tech was running late, but was on route to my house. I guess he walked there because he showed up at 5:56 PM. Mind you, the arrival window was from 9 AM to 3 PM. Tech was there less than 5 minutes and told my mom that they were missing a band so they couldn't complete the installation of the motor. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY GOES OUT TO A SERVICE ALL WITHOUT EXTRA PARTS LET ALONE THE PROPER ONES TO BEGIN WITH?!?!?!?!?!?!? Now tomorrow will be 12/30/16 and OUR HEATER STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH American Home Warranty OR L&S, as you can see from other reviews, they have the worst customer service ever. on to the BBB to submit a claim with them.
