A chef at another restaurant in Scottsdale suggested this place and for that I am grateful. Truly hidden away, I drove past it a few times, then finally pulled into a lot to call and ask if they were still open and confirm their address (if you see Lucy's, go one door over). Small and dark upon entrance, I took a seat at the bar. The menu was to drool over and caused me to waver between something with pork loin or something more Southwestern. I opted for tha latter. I had the shrimp enchiladas with beans, red chile sauce, scrambled eggs, and potatoes. The first bite was kind of strange since it was a food combination I was not used to, but soon I was devouring it like manna in the desert and did not leave a morsel over. I did not partake, but they also had mimosas for $5.
If I return to the Phoenix are, I definitely would return. I would love to check out lunch or dinner.
Worth the search!
