  • I was at the Target on Warner road in Gilbert ready to check out at 8:30am on Sunday. I had read that they put in self-service check out stands, but was confused when they were the ONLY option to checkout on Sunday. I even asked for an open cashier and was pointed to the self-service area. I had a coupon on my phone, that wasn't ringing up, and had a few other issues and finally got so upset I left my purchases just sitting and walked out. I feel really bad for the people who lost jobs there as cashiers and especially for people checking out with large purchases or groceries! After leaving my items I drove over to the Super Target on Gilbert road to find almost the same thing there! They did have one cashier open, but a Target employee was trying to get people to leave her line and self-checkout...no one was willing to do so. If I wanted to check myself out at a Target - I would work there. Target you lost my business.
