They came out to change my RO filters and by joining the Filter club (for $25), I could save 35$ off the cost of the filter. It goes down hill from there.
While we are on site, the techs offered a check of my water softener. The normal charge would be $75, but since they were on site, they would charge $50.
The 24 point check of the water softener included checking the valves and manually cycling the regen cycle. When the techs turned the water by pass valve on, they blew out the resin core of the water softener. When the regen cycle finished I had no water in the house.
The techs had left already. upon calling customer server, i spoke with several people. here are the results:
- $75 for them to come back out and estimate the repair.
- No refund for the $50 water softner check.
If they had any decent service skills the answer should have been:
" sorry,, we will refund or apply the $50 toward the purchase of a new unit from us" Lets try to keep me as a customer.
I am gone and never coming back to this company for service or products.
