Stopped in here yesterday for Afternoon Tea during a leisurely stroll through the Frick At & Historical Center. Afternoon Tea starts at 2:30 and goes through 5. It wasn't terribly busy since I made a reservation at 2:10 for 2:30 and it wasn't a problem. We sat inside which was really nice.
They had our choice of about 10 teas. I had the yummy apricot (black) tea. The three-tiered petit fours selection was delish. The top tier has the mini-sandwiches like egg salad, curry chicken, herb marscapone, cinnamon cream on raspberry poundcake. The middle tier featured plain and blueberry scones with clotted cream (the best part!) and strawberry jam. And the desserts were divine - amaretto cream, coconut macaroons, plum slices to dip in chocolate and mini-chocolate bundt cake with suprise berry filling.
It is such a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy tea and treats.
